    Russell Lee is one of my favorites from that era. He took over Dorothea Lange’s position with the FSA when she was dismissed for being more political than the government wanted. My favorites of Russell Lee (and his wife) are the series taken at Pie Town, New Mexico.

    I had no idea there were kindergarten classes back in 1942. That seemed like a 60’s thing in our neck of the woods…redneck, that is.
