1940s Immigrant Dad and Baby Arrive at Union Station, Toronto, Ontario

From the City of Toronto Archives: a Dutch immigrant father and baby at Union Station in Toronto on September 18, 1948.

I don’t know what’s cuter, the look the Dad is giving the baby as he opens up the basket or the baby carrier itself. Funny how it looks like what we use to transport our pets in today – but still cute.
