A Popular Montreal Intersection in 1928: Stanley and Ste-Catherine

A Popular Montreal Intersection: Stanley and Ste-Catherine

Yet another photo of Stanley and Ste-Catherine streets (i.e. where Chapters/LaSenza/Royal Bank are today), guess this was always a popular intersection.  This one is from 1928, which is 85 years ago.  I find it neat how you can still see the faded writing from those two ads on the walls, even today.

For other photos of this corner, see my post ‘Then and Now: Montreal
