Then and Now: Old Montreal Dow Planetarium

Photograph | Flood, Bonaventure Depot, Montreal, QC, 1886 | MP-0000.236.2

Roughly where the old Dow Planetarium sits, used to house the Bonaventure train depot (what the metro station is named after).

This is what it looked like in 1886 after a flood.  This was in Chaboillez Square, which is just in front of the Planetarium, on St. Jacques Street.

This is what is looks like today. The planetarium is now closed and set to reopen in a new location near the Big O.
